Lisette has been working as a lawyer since 2004 and has always worked in the insurance and liability law practice. Before becoming a lawyer, Lisette worked as assistant administrator within the framework of statutory debt adjustment.


Within the field of insurance and liability law Lisette has various areas of expertise. For example, she handles business liability insurance cases specialising in employer's liability (industrial accidents, occupational illnesses, in particular, chronic toxic encephalopathy (CTE) and good employment practice) and the liability of schools and shops. On top of that she is skilled in the field of credit insurances. In that respect but also in the field other insurances, she focuses on general insurance issues, reviewing policy conditions and the handling of any policy disputes for the insurer.


In the field of professional liability, Lisette also deals with the liability of insurance agents and given her experience in and with this practice, administrators.

Lisette publishes, give talks and lectures regularly. Lisette completed the Grotius Academy post-graduate programme Enterprise and Liability in 2011. Lisette is a member of the Vereniging voor Verzekeringswetenschap (Dutch Association of Insurers) and the Vereniging voor Aansprakelijkheids- en Schadevergoedingsrecht (Dutch Association of Liability and Compensation Law).
