Veneta Oskam


Veneta has been working as a lawyer since 1999, specialising in insurance and liability law as a personal injury specialist. In addition, she has extensive experience in the field of employer’s liability, occupational diseases and non-objectifiable injuries and regularly conducts legal proceedings involving these branches of law. She is also proficient in estimating and settling complex personal injuries involving, for example, independent entrepreneurs or young children. Veneta joined V&A Advocaten in January 2018.

In 2014, Veneta completed the Grotius Personal Injury specialist course with honours. Veneta is a member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (Dutch: Vereniging voor Letselschade Advocaten), the Association for Insurance Research (Dutch: Vereniging voor Verzekeringswetenschap) and the Association for Liability and Compensation Law (Dutch: Vereniging voor Aansprakelijkheids- en Schadevergoedingsrecht).

Veneta regularly publishes and edits for the journals Traffic Law (Dutch: Verkeersrecht) and Journal on Personal Injury Compensation (Dutch: Tijdschrift voor Vergoeding van Personenschade). In addition, she is an annotator for the journal Case Law on Liability (Dutch: Jurisprudentie Aansprakelijkheidsrecht). In 2010, Veneta completed the basic mediator training, which skills she is also more than able to apply in the extrajudicial process.
